Stuck on What to Get Kitty for Christmas?

Stuck on what to get your cat for Christmas? Just can't seem to decide what the precious Fur-Baby wants from Santa this year? Well don't despair, I have 4 cats and because we have excellent communication, I have learned straight from the horses ( Whoops I mean the "kitties" mouth) all about what cats want and crave for Christmas this year.

Now there, don't you feel a little bit better knowing that you won't have to fret over what to get the Precious Fur-Baby this year??

(Oh and BTW - please don't tell them I told you what they want - they still believe in Santa Cat and we certainly wouldn't want to ruin that for them!)

Cats Like To Cuddle

Well first off let's think about kitties wants and desires here. Knowing that our kitties just love to curl up with mom and or/dad, what happens when you're not around. Huh? Huh? Don't know do ya? Well I got it straight from the kitties mouth that Cats want Cozy !! When you're not around they want something that they can curl up to and at least pretend it's kind of close to being like your blanket.

So for cats that want to cuddle, a nice little fleece blankie like this one would be right up their alley.....

Gourmet Treats for Cats

OK so now that you have your fur-baby all wrapped up in cozy, what other things do cats just got to have this Christmas? What things can they just NOT live without? (besides you of course)

Well believe it or not the next best thing that cats just love....drum roll....is TREATS!!

Now you know yourself there is a world of difference between a dollar store box of candy and a box of See's Candy - so if you REALLY want to treat your Precious Fur-Baby to something special this Christmas think about going GOURMET. I mean come on now, you're going to have special things to snack on for the Holidays , aren't you????

What's a Cat's Life Without Their Toys?

OK so now that kitty is all cozy in her bed with her gourmet duck treats, what else might Precious need this Christmas season? Just what does a cat do when you leave her/him alone all day (besides sleep??)

Well you've got to know this one - the next best thing to sleeping and eating ( and spending time with you of course) is TOYS OF COURSE!!!

Now my cats have personally let me know NOT to buy them those stupid little plastic balls from the dollar store anymore (waste waste waste) but what they have told me is that they absolutely love toys that have feathers, look like mice, have places they can scratch at and the ones they love the most?? Those magic cat wand thing-a-ma-jiggers - the kind that looks like a stick with various attached other toys that drag around on the ground. (we can play like this for hours and they don't get bored - only your hand might fall asleep) In this case you might want to try a free standing cat smack around toy - it's self amusing)

Want To Put Kitty on The Hoilday Cover of Vogue?

Now for the grand finale:

If you are one of those doting parents that just has to have everything right for kitty this Christmas, including those darling Christmas pictures that your whole family ooh's I and ahh's about every year- well then I know you will just have to ALSO have the proper attire for all of kitties holiday festivities, parties, family gatherings and picture taking events. In this case ( and this one was not my cats idea) you will of course want to attire them in all the elegant cat attire that is available- santa hats, clothes and of course, those special velvet collars that kitties all love ( just don't tell them I told you this last part, OK)

So Kitty lovers, I hope I have taken some of the mystery out of shopping for kitty this Christmas season. May you and your precious Fur-Babies have a safe and happy holiday! ( and be careful- don't imbibe on too much cat nip - it has a tendency to cause wrecked Christmas trees and is the number one cause of CUI'S (CATS UNDER THE INFLUENCE)

Have a very Merry (and Furry) Christmas!

Perdy - The Bag Lady
