End of the World? Mass Animal Die-Off of Birds and Fish

The unusual die-off in the last week of birds and fish around the world has got the Internet cyberspace buzzing with an ominous question: Is it the end of the world?

Conspiracy theorists have long believed that a possible Armageddon type scenario is right around the corner. With the unexplained animal die-offs in the past week we kind of have to wonder though - are they on to something here? Why are the animals dying? Thousands of birds falling out of the sky in Kentucky is NOT normal. Any sane person knows this, and I for one don't buy the theory that they died on New Years eve because of "fireworks". Not only did thousands of birds drop out of the sky in Arkansas on Dec.31 but there has been a huge uptick in unexplained animal deaths in the past week (See map below as of Jan. 6, 2011)

Geez those must have been some mighty powerful fireworks to cause mass animal die-offs all around the globe! And since when did birds become so sensitive to fireworks? I have NEVER seen birds die from a fireworks display, and I live in an area that has many firework displays throughout the year.

We all know that people have been predicting the end of the world for quite some time now. This is not anything new. With the entrance of the Internet, information is available to us lay people at just the click of a button. Google "the end of the world" and you will come up with all kinds of websites with theories about the earth ending because of an alien invasion, war or climate change. Theories abound about where and when, especially the idea that the end of the world is just around the corner - according to the ancient Mayan predictions for the year 2012.

My own thoughts on the subject? I believe that there is now what I call an "awakening of the people". I think that people are becoming more and more aware now of the major changes that are going on in the world - but I believe that no one can predict the exact end of the world. We may sense it's coming, as many of us do, but no exact date or time will be given, nor do I think we'd want to know anyway? Isn't it hard enough just knowing that we already live in a very sick world and that any day could be our last? Why worry about the end of the world, even if it is not in our lifetime? What could we even do to change events anyway? Worrying about it will not change a thing!

Seeing mass animal die-offs is scary though - I think the "not knowing" is what's got people on edge. Over at Godlike Productions site theorists are even compiling a list of the dead birds, animals and fish die-off that has been occurring in the last week. Every day it seems more links of animals dying are added to the list - and people are rightfully concerned. They are asking "What is going on here??" Explanations of fireworks causing bird deaths just doesn't fly with me (excuse the pun) and I for one think there is a cover-up going on. Some savvy reporters aren't buying into the the whole fireworks thing either. Even some reputable news sites are running reports on end of the world type stuff and Armageddon.That in itself gives me moment to pause. When the mainstream media starts asking serious questions and even mentioning God, I think it's time to get our head out of the sand and start asking some serious questions ourselves.

This, I believe, is a moment of awakening. All people will not sense it but more people are definitely becoming aware to and following the serious Earth changes going on.

My own ideas about the mass animal die-offs within the last week?

I think the Earth as we know it is slowly dying. Combined with our aggressive pursuit of oil and the lack of consideration for the place we call home, I think some massive changes are starting to take place. I think people are becoming aware that something is not right with our Earth. Combined with the massive BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico last year, I think we have done unrepairable damage to our ecosystems. The birds and fish dying could be related directly to the oil spill. The toxins used in the oil spill could somehow have sped up mass animal die-offs.

Methane gas is something else I ponder about in the animal deaths. Methane is a deadly gas that is being released from the Earth in unheard of levels by the melting of the Siberian permafrost. Outbursts and release of methane pockets can cause immediate death. In 1986 The sudden and immediate release of methane gas caused the deaths of 1,800 people around Lake Kivu in the Congo. If methane could kill this many people, I would be looking at methane as a suspect, at least in some of the bird and fish deaths.

Because the oil from the BP macondo oil well came from such a deep pocket in the Earth -Mississippi Canyon Block 252 (which goes under the Eastern side of the USA), I think some possible displacement has happened UNDER the earth, which could be leading to changes in the ecosystem. Not to mention that the New Madrid earthquake faultis in the area where many of the bird and fish deaths have occurred. Leaks of toxins perhaps?

Another theory I have is that the mass animal die-off could be related to HAARP and/or the magnetic pole changes that National Geographic talks about here (animals are very sensitive to electro-magnetic changes in the atmosphere) Birds are also very sensitive to methane gas.This could account for birds losing direction and "falling out of the sky".

Ever heard about the canary in the coal mine?

Being avidly interested in Earth cycles, I also believe that some of this is related to natural changes that occur here on Earth (we all know about the dinosaur extinction)

I think we have accelerated the demise of our earth though through reckless and wanton stripping of our resources here, up to and including our dependence on fossil fuel.

So is it the end of the world?

I would never predict or presume to even know. I think however that the Earth is giving us signs that she is very ill. Animals are usually first predictors that something is wrong. I don't think we should or even can ignore the warning signs of what is happening - about to or might happen in our lifetime. I think being aware and being informed is important. I think taking steps to insure our families safety in disasters is important. Having a good supply of emergency food and a survival kit is good.

As for me and my house, we pray a lot because we know that in the long run all of this is really our of our control anyway. We pray for discernment and safety, protection and guidance in things concerning our family and friends. We pray for them to be able to know God so that when calamities do occur, they are holding onto a rock for safety - God never leaves us no matter how many birds drop dead out of the sky.

More than anything I think I worry more about our up and coming generations. I worry about my grandchildren and have remorse for the world they have been born into. I know that they are going to see many changes the likes of which we never could have imagined or dreamed of.

The End of the World? Mass Bird and Fish Die-offs. Unexplained animal deaths. I think the animals are trying to tell us something.
