The Funny and Cute Things That Kids Say: Part 2

Updated on May 17, 2013
One of my sons drew this many years ago on a slip of paper and I kept it. The heart shaped face and the word mom just stuck with me. I love this.

Kids say the cutest things!

This is part 2 of the "The funny and cute things that kids say" hub series. I hope you enjoyed the first one and here are some more of the cute sayings that my sons have said over the years. Like I said, I wrote down their sayings right after they said them - whether it be at school, the workplace or in the car. I am so glad that I did that because now I can look back at the funny and sweet things my son have said to me as children growing up. I will now have to start writing down the cute things my grandchildren are saying because it's a whole new generation growing up now! I hope you enjoy the cute sayings and are inspired to start writing down things that your own kids and grand-kids say. Because you know with time we can sometimes forget what was said or done!

My sons when they were little

This photo was taken when my sons were about 4 and 5. I didn't start writing down their cute sayings until they were about 8 and 9 but I'm glad that I started to then. It's never too late!

My son says to me one day while we were watching the Beatles Anthology on TV," I could tell all those four people in the Beatles were hyperactive mom because they jerk around alot!" (11-18-1995)

A little note my son Nick left for me one day: "You were my strength when I was weak. You were my voice when I couldn't speak. You were my eyes when I couldn't see. I love you Mom."

12 year old Nick and I were talking about Princess Diana one day and he says, " They called her the Princess of Wales because she really liked whales, huh mom?" (8-10-98)

Alex, 11, was looking at our puppies tongue one day and says, "Mom, her tongue is attached to her mouth!" (4-21-1998)
