Since I became a grandma a year and half ago, I've suddenly been thrown back into the designer world of baby clothes (doncha just love it grandmas?) One of my favorite baby clothing lines is by a company called Mud Pie - with many Mud Pie clothing sets and accessories available online through Amazon (another site which I love) As long as you have a good idea of babies age you can safely buy Mud Pie clothing online because the sizes run the way they should (no surprises here)

I bought my first baby grand daughters matching headband from Mud Pie online and couldn't be more pleased. I presented my daughter-in-law with babies outfit at her shower and the oooh's and ahhh's over Cienna's outfit were contagious. Who, after all, can resist a baby outfit that just melts your heart? Mud Pie clothing is just ohhh so cute in my book!

Headbands on little girls have got to be just one of the most adorable baby accessories you can add to your little princesses outfit. I always get excited when a new mom whips out a headband for her new daughter to be photographed in. Mud Pie has some of the cutest babies headbands I've seen, ranging from tiaras to cute little bands with huge flowers (my new grand daughter sports the pink and black polka dot Mud Pie headband with the salmon pink flower)

Since I also do photo shoots of newborn babies for my job, I have come to appreciate the wide range of cute clothing that Mud Pie offers. I can always spot a Mud Pie baby outfit! The colors, the attention to detail and the craftsmanship are a trademark of the Mud Pie baby clothing line.

Mud Pie also sells some of it's baby clothes in sets. Some sets come with socks and a headband like this adorable little rare edition watermelon outfit. They also have rompers, often in similar colors with or without matching accessories. The lime green is a really trendy color and the little details that Mud Pie puts on it's baby clothing really make a fashion statement. The little dress I got for Cienna was actually a newborn onesie, with a tier of ruffles from the waist down. It snaps at the bottom but looks just like a little dress. The ribbon runs around the waistline with a big removable flower on the front.

Of course no baby outfit is complete without matching shoes and in this department Mud Pie does not let you down. Besides cute socks Mud Pie also has adorable shoes to match most outfits. When I bought my grand daughters onesie I was thrilled to find some matching shoes for her outfit with the same pattern and same flower (the pink one with the rhinestone in the middle) Pink is very in and hot this year, and Mud Pie has alot of mix and match accessories in both pink, black and polka dots. Tooo cute!!!

I'm not sure what type of baby walking shoes Mud Pie has - I personally like the Robeez line of shoes for babies learning to walk. Some of Mud Pie shoes are really cute though because they are half shoe/half booties. Nice to just slip on baby.

Although Mud Pie girls clothing is extremely cute, they haven't forgot the cute little boys! I remember when my sons were growing up and it was sometimes hard to find cute boys clothing. Those days are the past as now savvy fashion designers know that moms want to dress up their little boys too! Once again Mud Pie does not disappoint. Not only do they have cute little outfits for boys but they also have matching accessories for the little man in your life too.

Although not all children or babies will wear hats, there are children that just love their little sunshades. My 16 month old grandson loves wearing hats (he will grab his daddies anytime he can!) Although hats are usually looked upon as a fashion statement, hats are very important for babies -especially ones that are going out in the sun or an outing for the day. Even windy days can cause sunburn. As far as the Mud Pie hats go, I think they've got the market cornered on some of the most adorable hats for both baby boys and girls. There are hats for the discerning golfer baby, hats to match other Mud Pie outfits and hats to be...well just plain fun! (Mud Pie even has hats here that have a matching alphabet letter for babies name)
